Every year we add about 2,000 titles to our collections: the most reliable and up-to-date materials on the UK book market. We focus on:

- information technology: networks, programming, applications
- social sciences
- arts: architecture, photography, music, painting
- British literature: classic and contemporary writers, criticism, literary theory

If you are studying, you will want to know how to use your time and effort to maximum effect. Our “Study skills” collections have the answers. The books encourage you to establish your own learning strategies and develop simple tehniques for managing your study time, reading, improving your comprehension, taking notes, gathering information, working with numerical data, giving presentations, writing essays, assignments and reports, researching and writing your dissertation, thinking faster and more creatively and improving exam performance.
The library periodicals collection includes newspapers, trade and leisure magazines. Newspapers can be read in the Network Central. Magazines may be borrowed for one week (with the exception of the latest issue, which is for reference only).
The members of our library benefit from free Internet access on the computers in our centre, during opening hours.
Do you need to take a break and have fun? Our library offers you:
- books on dieting, design, fashion, food and drink, photography, health, family and lifestyle, house and garden, travel and holidays, fiction
- periodicals (Cosmopolitan, House Beautiful, PC Gamer, Woman & Home, Vogue etc.)
