Addvantage programme
Partnership programme for institutions

For many years the British Council has worked closely with schools, language centres and other institutions in Romania and we realise that our work would not be possible without their support. To strengthen this relationship, we launched a partnership programme starting with January 2012.

Addvantage Programme is simply our way of saying thank you for your partnership and support in the last year.

Check out the list of exams preparation centres (PDF, 201 KB).

How does Addvantage work?

If you are a preparation centre and register candidates as block entries, you will be able to register for the Addvantage program.

For each candidate you register in a calendar year for a Cambridge ESOL exam (YLE, KET, KET for Schools, PET, PET for Schools, FCE, FCE for Schools, CAE, CPE, BEC, TKT, ILEC or ICFE) through the British Council you earn one point. The test can be either computer or paper-based.

The total number of points entitles you to four levels of membership and is as follows:

Points

Level of membership

1 – 49

Bronze

50 – 100

Silver

101 – 150

Gold

Over 150

Platinum

Your level of membership is reviewed at the end of every year. For example, your level of membership in 2013 depends on the number of points you earn between January and December 2012.
