Exam preparation materials: TOP TIPS FOR PET/FCE/CAE

TOP TIPS FOR PET/FCE/CAE are booklets meant to support PET/FCE/CAE candidates who want to improve their knowledge before taking the exam. They include a CD-ROM with real exam papers and a Speaking test video.

Written by Cambridge ESOL examiners with many years’ experience of setting and marking PET, FCE and CAE, Top Tips provide candidates with essential advice (‘tips’) for each part of the exam and come in a convenient A5 format which is easy to use.

Students can work through the book and then practise what they have learned by trying the real exam on the accompanying CD. There are answers (and sample answers for the Writing test) at the end of the exam so that students can check their performance. The CD also includes video of real students taking the Speaking test.
