Registration

If you are a new student and you want to register for a course you need to:

STEP 1 Come in person to the British Council during the registration period for new students and take a written level test called the International Language Assessment (ILA), followed by an oral interview with one of our teachers. Tests start every half an hour and are free of charge.

STEP 2 After the test, the teacher will give you information about your level of English. Classes start at 09.00, 10.45, 14.15, 16.00, 17.45, and 19.30, during the week, and at 09.00 and 13.15 on Saturday. Not all options are available for all levels. Most groups have classes twice a week. The Saturday groups have classes once a week.

STEP 3 If you want a guaranteed place in one of the groups, you have to pay the course fee upon registration. Registration is done on a first come - first served basis. We regret that places cannot be reserved.

The testing and registration process should take between one and two hours.
