Our Teaching Centre in Bucharest is part of a world-wide network of British Council language schools. It was opened in September 2000 by Her Royal Highness Princess Anne and offers language training for private individuals, companies and government institutions.
Our English Teaching Centre is located in the recently-refurbished British Council building in the centre of the city, five minutes from Romana square.
We have 12 well-equipped classrooms with multimedia access with TV, video, OHP and cassette recorder. All classrooms are also equipped with Interactive Whiteboards (IWBs). We also have one dedicated multimedia room with Internet access, which, together with a range of language learning programmes, are used for computer assisted language learning.
All our teachers are professionally qualified and have a minimum of two years' experience in teaching English as a foreign language.
Teaching Centre students will have one year free membership of our library.
