British Council Summer School 2013 offers a range of interactive English courses for children and adults in July and August.
The Summer School 2013 will run in the following periods:

We organize intensive summer courses for adults both in Summer A and Summer B. These are 36 hour General English courses and all the groups will have classes Monday to Friday, 2 hours per day.

In Summer A the lessons start at 10.00, 14.00, 16.15 and 18.30. We offer classes for levels from Beginner to 5a. Not all classes are available on each timeslot. |

Summer school for children is a comprehensive programme of activities. This programme will be 72 hours long (4 hours per day), Monday to Friday between 09.00 and 13.00, running in Summer A and Summer B.
The summer programme will focus on the history, traditions and culture of Britain and Ireland. In addition to this, the course will also cover the history, lifestyle and customs in English speaking countries around the world such as Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United States.
This programme will give children an opportunity to gain knowledge about the English speaking world and the diverse cultures and regions where English is spoken as well as having a fun introduction to the topic of history as studied through the medium of English language. The course will exploit children’s natural creativity and love of storytelling, and will focus on vocabulary extension, speaking and reading skills, as well as collaborative group and project based writing skills.
We will also be providing a programme of special extra-curricular activities in which children will be able to engage in a variety of projects and learn new skills such as photography, origami, drama, and a range of arts and crafts activities
Summer school for teenagers is a comprehensive programme of activities This programme will be 36 hours long (2 hours per day), Monday to Friday between 14.00 and 16.00, running only in Summer B.
The summer programme will focus on the history, traditions and culture of Britain and Ireland. In addition to this, the course will also cover the history, lifestyle and customs in English speaking countries around the world such as Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United States.
This programme will give teenagers an opportunity to gain knowledge about the English speaking world and the diverse cultures and regions where English is spoken as well as having a fun introduction to the topic of history as studied through the medium of English language. The course fee must be paid in full, on enrolment. Payment can be made in cash or by credit/debit card, lei only. We do not accept cheques. For payment via bank transfer please contact us at contact@britishcouncil.ro or 021 307 9600.
We offer a 70 RON discount for the second member of a family registered for a course at the Teaching Centre, in the same term.
Registration takes place on a first come first served basis, subject to availability of places. Places cannot be reserved.
The fee includes all tuition and course materials, but not course books, which you need to buy separately.
