British Council is getting bigger
Network Central has been inaugurated on 18 January 2007

Network Central, the new British Council building in Bucharest, has been inaugurated on 18 January 2007, in the presence of the Chair of the British Council, Lord Kinnock, one of the most highly reputed British politicians and former Vice-President of the Council of Europe.

This new space is meant to be a meeting place for all our friends and partners where, from now on, we will be designing projects and thus learning together. Network Central will be a creative space where Romanian and British people will learn how to become Europeans together and how to turn their dreams and ambitions into reality in a much wider world, which offers them numerous opportunities. You will find here British Council’s collection of contemporary British literature and films (on DVD), business and management resources, online e-learning resources and English language learning materials, all in a completely new and original form. All these materials are from now on organised around the main themes of our future activity: Living Accession, Intercultural Dialogue and English Language.
