British Council invites children and teenagers between 11 and 15 years old to register for the autumn module of BritTeen. The BritTeen Club’s main objective is to help the participants improve their personal and social abilities while practicing English language conversation.

Registration period: 22 Octber - 2 November

Monday 1 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Tuesday - Friday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

We recommend that the English language level of the participants be intermediary. Before registering, the new members will participate in an interview in order to establish their level of English. There is no need to book a time for the interview beforehand. The participants can choose one or both workshops.

You can find more information about the workshops and the registration fee in the registration form.

The workshops available in the Autumn module are British Culture and Civilization and Drama Club.

British Culture and Civilization

This is a workshop in which English is used as an instrument to help better undersand ourselves, the other people surrounding us and the world that we live in. The accent is not on theory, but on a knowledge that comes from open-mindedness, communication and trust. This module proposes both general knowledge subjects, as well as aspects of daily life.

Drama Club

This workshop invites you to explore the universe of theatre and develop your theatrical abilities. We will talk about theatre plays and actors, about how it's like being a theatre director or actor, about costumes and props, improvisation and about how you can transform yourself in your favorite character. We will discover how stories are being transformed into reality on stage and why not, get rid of stage fright. Brrrr!

BritTeen members enjoy a free library membership at the @British library in Iasi for 3 months.
