English Conversation Club – for adults

You now have the opportunity of becoming a better English speaker! Join the new English conversation club, for adults!

Talk freely and discover the advantages of having an English native speaker to help you learn more. The club's meetings will be held once a week, for six weeks, an hour and a half each, every Monday evening at 7:30 p.m., starting on 14 January 2013.

Register between 7 - 11 January 2013! Fill in the registration form (MS Word 79 Kb) (available also at the British Council Cluj) and pay the 180 RON registration fee.

New enrollment dates for the "Bridging the Gap from FCE to CAE - the Speaking Test" Seminar

Due to the high number of requests for this seminar, we have decided to organise it once again, on 2 February 2013.

The seminar is designed for teachers of English who prepare candidates for the FCE and CAE examinations, with special emphasis on the requirements of the Speaking test. This seminar is free of charge. Subscribe by filling in the registration form (MS Word, 142 Kb). The deadline for subscriptions is 20 January 2013 and places are limited.

British Council Cluj is an accredited Cambridge ESOL Examinations Centre. You can get various general and academic qualifications by taking exams of international recognition administered by us (YLE, KET, PET, FCE, CAE, CPE, BEC, ILESC, ICFE, IELTS). British Council can also intermediate other examinations at the candidate's request.

The British Council Cluj invites children and teenagers aged 4-6, 7-13, or 14-16 years old to become members of the BritTeen Club. The main aim of this club is to help them interact in English, thus developing their personal and social abilities.
