What is Athens?

Athens is an access management system that allows control of access to online resources.  Through Athens you can gain fast and reliable access to our online subscriptions that covers a wide range of frequently updated subject areas, dictionaries, encyclopaedias, world events and journals

What do I need to get an Athens user account?

When filling the application form to join our centres, you must provide us with a valid e-mail address and sign the terms and conditions for using Athens.  Shortly after we process your application, you will receive an e-mail that contains your account details.

How can I use it ?

You can login to Athens from any public computer at our centres in Ramallah, Gaza and Jerusalem in addition to our contact points available at An Najah University, Palestine Polytechnic University, and Al-Quds Open University - Khan Yunis. You can also use the service from home and/or workplace.

How much does it cost?

There is no additional cost to pay for this service other than the membership fees of joining our centres.  All you have to do is to request this service when you fill the application form.
