environmental science:  hydraulics
by Katherine Bilsborough

Water is essential for life.  Some people get too much, some never get enough. For others the total is sufficient but the timing is wrong.  And what is sufficient for people in some parts of the world is not enough for others. What will happen in the future, as a result of global warming?  Or because of speculation causing a need for large amounts of water in areas of semi-desert?

Read an article talking about water scarcity and the grades of seriousness that have been established.

Listen to an environmental scientist who is an adviser on several international water projects talking about water management.
