Biotechnology - how long has it been around? 10 year? 50 years? Much longer?  In fact, it’s been around for thousands of years in one form and another.  So what is it and why do we think it's a more recent area of study?  And what about genetically modified (GM) food?  We didn't hear anything about that until 10 years or so ago.  Or did we?  Read about biotechnology and listen to two students talking about it.
