sponsorship
by Chris Rose

Corporate sponsorship is one of the biggest ways in which a lot of companies now do PR, marketing and advertising.  Is the relationship between an organisation and the people they sponsor always mutually beneficial?

Read an article which looks at various aspects of sponsorship, check your knowledge of the vocabulary used in it, then your understanding by answering some questions about the article.  Then check your ability to construct passive forms in a grammar exercise.

Listen to an interview with two people from companies who run sponsorship programmes, talking about why they do it.  Look at some of the key phrases used in the interview, check your understanding of it, then listen in detail to some of the question forms used.
