bagpipes

What do you know about the musical instrument called the bagpipes?  Maybe you associate them with Scotland, since pipers are often seen there, but in fact their use is widespread, and not only among the Celts.  This is why there are in fact many different types of pipes, played in slightly different ways.

Read about the instrument and its origins, and listen to some young pipers being interviewed about their playing.
