microcredits
by Carolyn Hardwick

What are microcredits, who gives them, who receives them and what for?  Whose idea was it to provide these loans and why?  And if they are loans, when do they have to be paid back, and what kind of interest rate is payable?

In this article you will find out the answers to these questions and you will hear people who have been given loans talking about how it has been for them.  You will also practise vocabulary used with reference to loans.
