An article on immigration in Europe
Narmin talks about her experiences
Immigration & emigration

People have always moved from one part of the world to another. During the last century millions of emigrants left Europe to make new lives in north and south America, Australia and New Zealand.  Since the second world war many immigrants have made new lives in European countries. Recently the number of people hoping to make new lives for themselves and their families in Europe has increased dramatically. Economoc factors and political instability in certain areas of the world are responsible for this increase.

Read the article by Marcus Hoffman describing the reactions of Europeans to this movement of people and then listen to a personal account of a journey from an Iranian village to London.
