Chartered Institute of Linguists
The Diploma is a professional qualification at postgraduate level for translators who have reached a high level of linguistic skills and wish to embark on a career in translation, or for professional translators who want to validate their skills. This is the only international translation qualification available. The Papers are sat in January every year.

NB. Enrolment deadlines for submission to British Council are earlier than stated on the IOL site because the British Council needs time to process and return enrolments to IOL before their deadline.
The British Council in Lisbon is not offering a Translation Course this year.
