The aim of this 24-hour course is to prepare you for the academic module of the IELTS exam. The course concentrates on familiarising you with the four IELTS papers: speaking, writing, reading and listening, and giving exam tips and strategies for how you can get the best score you are capable of.

Course content:

Developing speaking, writing, reading and listening skills including:

• planning your writing
• describing graphs, charts and processes
• expressing opinions and formulating arguments ( spoken and written)
• global comprehension and searching for specific information in reading and listening texts

Exam preparation:

• training on the content and format of exam papers
• timed exam practice from past papers
• detailed feedback about your written work
• understanding the exercise types
• analysing questions
• time management

Course description:

• 30 hour courses
