This summer we are offering a wide range of General English, Speaking Skills, English for Work and Examination Preparation Courses.
Other courses for Adults
Our English for Life courses:
- provide systematic development of all four skills: speaking, reading, writing and listening
- improve student’s ability and confidence in using English in real-life situations
- run for 30 hours (3 hours a day for two weeks or 2.5 hours three days a week for four weeks)
Our English for Work courses:
- meet the needs of students who have to use English in a wide variety of working situations
- provide systematic practice in all 4 skills: speaking, reading, writing and listening
- run for 30 hours (3 hours a day for two weeks or 2.5 hours three days a week for four weeks)
Our Speaking Skills courses:
- meet the needs of students with little or no previous experience of learning English as well as those who have plenty of practice
- provide systematic practice in a wide range of speaking situations
- run for 30 hours (3 hours a day for two weeks or 2.5 hours three days a week for four weeks)
Our Cambridge English Examination Preparation courses:
- provide thorough preparation for the Cambridge English examinations FCE and CAE by familiarising students with the format of the exam and training them in essential exam techniques
- provide systematic practice in all parts of the exam
- run for 30 hours (3 hours a day for two weeks or 2.5 hours three days a week for four weeks)
Our 30 hour IELTS Preparation courses:
- provide thorough training in exam strategies and techniques
- provide systematic skills development in all four Modules of the test: speaking, reading, writing and listening
- run for 30 hours (3 hours a day for two weeks)
Our 15 hour IELTS Preparation Courses:
- provide a thorough introduction to the format of all four Modules of the test: speaking, reading, writing and listening
- include practice and feedback on real IELTs questions
- run for 15 hours (3 hours a day over 5 days)

Courses in July, August and September
Every day 1000 - 1300 or stay all day* 1000 - 1600
Two-week courses of 30 hours or 50 hours
- All our classrooms are English speaking only
- Afternoon activities include theatre or activity clubs
- We will look after your child before and after classes and during break times (9.30-13.15/ 16.30)
- English library with books and DVDs to borrow and take home
*Lisbon: July courses; Miraflores: 01-12 July)

Students enrolling for the exam preparation courses and enrolling for the July exam need to do a placement test before 03 June
