Our exam preparation courses, for teenagers and adults, aim to provide general language development as well as maximise performance by familiarising participants with the format of the exam and developing essential exam skills through strategy training and practice activities. We concentrate on developing the underlying competencies required for successful study. We dedicate time to developing language and practising the skills acquired.
During the course, alongside general language development, you will receive an introduction to each of the question types in the chosen exam, together with advice on strategies and tactics for approaching each task type. You will work in groups, pairs, or by yourself, depending on the requirements of the task, and you will use a variety of resources, including multi-media, to help you develop your level of language and your exam technique.
See our separate exam pages (Cambridge ESOL exams) for more information on each individual exam, including exam dates and enrolment fees.
We offer 30-week courses, either twice a week for one and a half hours a lesson, or once a week for three hours
Everyone wishing to enrol for any of our exam preparation courses is required to do a free placement test before enrolling for the course.
