- training on content and format of exam papers - detailed feedback on your written work - understanding the different exam exercise types

Professional Development This course will enable you to
- understand, practise and improve your written and oral English within the context of Financial English as well as improve your vocabulary in this specialist area

Cambridge International Certificate in Financial English (ICFE)
The International Certificate in Financial English (ICFE), an internationally recognised examination set at levels B2 and C1 of the Common European Framework for Languages (CEFR), assesses language skills in the context of finance and accounting. B2 is equivalent to the Cambridge First Certificate in English (FCE), and C1 is equivalent to the Certificate in Advanced English (CAE). Examinations at the C1 level may be used as proof of language necessary to work in an international context or to follow a course of study related to finance at university level.
The International Certificate in Financial English (ICFE) is a high-level language qualification developed through the combined areas of expertise of the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations (English for Speakers of Other Languages) and ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) to meet the demand for helping finance professionals demonstrate that they have the financial English skills they need to succeed in the global business arena.
Exam Details The examination takes approximately 3.5 hours in total and consists of four papers:
- Test of Reading
- Test of Writing
- Test of Listening
- Test of Speaking

TKT is a test about teaching English to speakers of other languages. It aims to increase teachers' confidence and enhance job prospects by focusing on the core teaching knowledge needed by teachers of primary, secondary or adult learners.

ILEC is an examination set at levels B2 and C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. ILEC is equivalent in level to the world famous Cambridge First Certificate in English and Certificate in Advanced English, and assesses language skills in a legal context. Examinations at the C1 level may be used as proof of the level of language necessary to work in an international legal context or to follow a course of legal study at university level.
ILEC is a Cambridge ESOL examination, produced and assessed by, in collaboration with Translegal – Europe’s leading firm of lawyer-linguists. It is recognised by leading associations of lawyers including the European Company Lawyers Association, the European Law Students Association, the International Association of Young Lawyers, and the European Young Bar Association.
Exam papers contents and dates:
- Reading: 1 hour and 15 minutes
- Writing: 1 hour and 15 minutes
- Listening: 40 minutes
- Speaking: 15 minutes per pair of candidates
