2. Print out the confirmation email and send it or take it to your nearest British Council Centre within five calendar days.

You need to include:

1. a print out of the email you received when you submitted your application
2. a copy of your passport or National ID card, whichever one you indicated on your application
3. a copy of your proof-of-payment of the test fee (if you are sending your documentation by post). Please do NOT send cash through the post
4. 2 recent identical photographs (3cm x 4cm). The photographs should be signed on the back with the name and surname of the candidate), and must follow these standards:

The photographs must be:

• in color
• Identical
• recent, no more than six months old
• taken against plain neutral background so that features are clearly distinguished
• undamaged
• in sharp focus and clear
• of print quality of professional standard

Photographs must show:

• a close-up of the heads and shoulders
• candidates looking straight towards the camera
• a neutral expression with mouth closed
• eyes open and clearly visible
• no glasses
• no smiling
• no shadows
• nothing covering face, nothing covering the outlines of the eyes, nose or mouth

3. Payment
In order to confirm your registration we need to receive your payment of EUR 195.00 and documentation no later than 5 calendar days after registering for the test.

Please note that it is currently not possible to pay by bank transfer for your IELTS test.

If you are paying by post, please send a cheque or vale postal. If you visit our centres in person, you can pay by cash or Multibanco.
