| I was born in Bradford, England, in 1970. I first came to Poland in 1992 and had my passport stolen within three hours of arriving. As soon as I find out where it is, I’ll be able to leave. I have worked as a barman, newspaper packer and spent exactly 27 minutes & 12 seconds as a 'Telephone Sales Representative' for a window frame company. I was also a youth worker in Cambridgeshire and Derby. For two years I worked at the Wyzsza Szkola Biznesu in Nowy Sacz. In 1998, after university in Derby, I returned to Poland to get married to Gosia and spent 7 years working at the Stairway School of English in Cracow. In 2005 one of my worst nightmares was realised when I moved to Nowy Sacz. I started at the British Council in October 2006 and commute from Sacz. I love football; supporting Bradford City and Wisla Krakow. I organise the Cracow Sunday Football League and, despite my age, weight & glaring lack of ability, play for one of its teams: Cracow United. My favourite time of the day is 1 o'clock in the morning when my 6 year-old daughter, Asia, stumbles sleepily into my bed for a cuddle. |
