I first came to Krakow on holiday when I was seventeen and immediately decided that one day I would live here. So in 1999, a bit older and more qualified, I came back and taught at the British International School of Krakow for a year. I decided to follow my other great love at the time (a very charming Australian!) and left in 2000 to teach in Hong Kong and Australia before moving back here in 2006. I joined the British Council as a freelance teacher in 2007.

If I had to define my life in one sentence it would be "So much to do and so little time!" I love living here and I love my job (most of the time) but I also have a million hobbies and in order to do everything I wanted, I would simply have to give up sleep. Among my greatest pleasures in life are yoga, swimming, cooking for friends, good food, wine and company, going to the theatre and the opera, reading and going for long walks. My latest passion is for all things Portuguese- estou apaixonada por esta lingua! For now I'm staying in Krakow but who knows what the future will bring.......
