The British Council examination centre in Rzeszow has been based at Promar International, Languages and Management School, since 1994. The building itself is a very modern, tailor-made teaching centre for those who would like to study foreign languages courses or become teachers as well as translators/interpreters; it is also very well adapted for the needs of simultaneous interpretation with the latest audiovisual technology.
| In the years 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 Promar International was granted the title of Solidna firma (Reliable company) for its fair and credible activity on the market. The organisation of the Cambridge ESOL examinations constitutes an integral part of Promar’s activity performance. |

There are two people responsible for the coordination and organisation of examinations in the British Council examination centre: Ewa Wawszczak-Rybka and Teresa Rokosz. Ewa is a professionally active EFL teacher but in her private life she is passionate about India, where she looks for an alternative life style. That is why she can meditate for hours while sitting in the lotus position. Teresa, an incorrigible optimist, who is in charge of the school, adores wintertime, snow, freezing temperatures and skiing.
There are also two young professionals responsible for exams administration. The first one, Joanna Białek-Mendakiewicz, a fan of the colours pink and violet, tries her best to reconcile her job in HR and in exams with the parenting of a 4-year-old girl. The second administrator, Dorota Podolec, is the head of the dean’s office at the local Teacher Training College and she believes that every problem has a solution. She is passionate about SPA treatments, gymnastics and her husband’s Mediterranean cooking.
