british council examination centre in poznań

In Poznań the British Council Examination Centre is run by the Intersection Training Centre. The centre is located in Jeżyce, an enchanting quarter of Poznań well known to all lovers of Małgorzata Musierowicz’s literary work. The spirit of the place must have an influence on those working at the Poznań centre as they are ambitious, full of passion for their job and open to customers’ needs.

Intersection’s aim is to help students cross barriers in interpersonal communication - not only in terms of language - so that they can function more effectively in an international environment.

In March 2004 Intersection, as the first language school in Poznań, and one of the very few in Poland,  became a member of the European Association for Quality Language Services and has the right to use the EAQUALS quality mark.

Apart from general English and classic FCE, CAE and CPE preparatory classes the school’s offer includes also intensive 40-hour FCE and CAE courses, preparation for Business English Certificates, Business English tailor-made courses and In-company language training.

Kasia, an FCE candidate said about the centre:”Everything was as in the school advert. The exam was professionally run and, as it turned out later brought good effects” However the final success is sometimes paid for with stress. One of the supervisors, a reliable and diligent person, had once to face a series of weather adversities. To begin with he got stuck in a lift. Then his car refused to co-operate. When he finally reached the exam venue, two CD players failed to work. But for his sense of duty the person concerned would have throw himself into the Warta river. Luckily some extra equipment was provided and the listening session was duly completed.

Exam colleagues at the Poznań centre share a common passion for cooking. They feel there is no better recipe for a successful reception than a bring-your-own-food party. The trouble is that the number of different dishes to try makes it difficult for guests to walk out unaided. So if you need to improve your culinary skills, consult Intersection!!!
