All language schools, educational institutions and companies which have registered five or more candidates for the following exams between 16th April 2011 and 18th April 2012 are welcome to participate in the programme:

• Cambridge English: Young Learners (YLE),
• Cambridge English: Key (KET) / Key for Schools,
• Cambridge English: Preliminary (PET) / Preliminary for Schools,
• Cambridge English: First (FCE) / First for Schools,
• Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE),
• Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE),
• Cambridge English: Business Preliminary (BEC P),
• Cambridge English: Business Vantage (BEC V),
• Cambridge English: Business Higher (BEC H),
• International English Language Testing System (IELTS),
• Cambridge English: Financial (ICFE),
• Cambridge English: Legal (ILEC),
• Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT).

In April 2012 we will have gathered full data on the number of candidates registered for the Cambridge ESOL exams between 16 April 2011 and 18 April 2012 by particular institutions. Those that have registered at least five candidates will been invited to join the programme. Details of the programme will be sent to institutions by post - those interested in participation are asked to send us their applications by the end of May 2012.

The offer available for every programme participant depends on the number of candidates registered by them. Participants are divided into three categories:

• Bronze – participants who register 5 to 25 candidates for the Cambridge ESOL exams between 16 April 2011 and 18 April 2012.
• Silver – participants who register 26 to 75 candidates for the Cambridge ESOL exams between 16 April 2011 and 18 April 2012.
• Gold – participants who register more than 75 candidates for the Cambridge ESOL exams between 16 April 2011 and 18 April 2012.

Addvantage Bronze entitles you to:

• register your candidates for the Cambridge ESOL: YLE, KET, KET for Schools, PET, PET for Schools, FCE, FCE for Schools, CAE, CPE and BEC examinations at a lower fee,
• receive a copy of the Speaking Test Preparation Pack with DVD funded by University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, containing a recording of a mock Speaking test. The level of the pack to be chosen by you,
• receive a copy of Grammar and Vocabulary for Cambridge First (2nd edition) – a book funded by Pearson,
• a certificate issued by the British Council stating that your institution register groups of candidates for Cambridge ESOL examinations as well as other markers of your institution’s membership in the Programme to be displayed at the institution’s premises (posters, stickers),
• the right to use the logo ”Member of the British Council Exams Partnership Programme Addvantage” in your institution’s promotional materials and on its website.
  All promotional and information materials produced by the programme participant in which the logo is used must obtain written approval from the British Council, accepting their content and form and expressing the British Council’s consent to publication. The programme participant must submit such materials to the British Council for approval by e-mail (exams.promotion@britishcouncil.pl) not later than 5 working days prior to their use.
• with the consent of your institution – placing the institution’s details in the exam course finder on the www.britishcouncil.pl portal for the duration of the 5th edition of the Addvantage programme,
• regular e-mail briefings about British Council examinations activities, new offers, general events and results statistics of the Cambridge ESOL exams organised in all British Council Examination Centres in Poland,
• a guarantee of 3 places at each methodological seminar for teachers, organised by the British Council in the region where the programme participant operates.

Addvantage Silver entitles you to:

• all Bronze membership benefits, plus:
• Longman Exams Dictionary with CD ROM, funded by Pearson,
• certificates for teachers preparing students for Cambridge ESOL examinations in your institution, confirming their experience in this area,
• a 50% discount on any Cambridge ESOL exam taken in an open session for one of your employees,
• free access – for a period of 3 months – to Road to IELTS Online (IELTS preparation materials) for 12 people identified by you,
• the option of organising on your premises a presentation for your students entitled ”How can I study abroad?”, including information about the IELTS test.

• 10 copies of the test,
• materials for the Speaking part of the test including the test script for the oral examiner and test materials for the candidate,
• a “Teacher’s Booklet” containing the answer key to all parts of the test and information on the marking scheme,
• a “Resource Booklet” with photocopiable answer sheets,
• a CD with recordings of the Listening component.
• a one-year membership of the British Library closest to your institution for 3 people designated by you,
• the option of conducting a 3-hour methodological seminar for teachers on your institution’s premises, on a day agreed by the parties. The subject of the seminar will be chosen by your institution from the list presented by the British Council,
• host the FCE, CAE and CPE Speaking test on your premises for groups registered by your institution. The remaining parts of the exam will be conducted in accordance with open session regulations.

In order to take advantage of this offer the institution must meet the requirements described in detail in the programme regulations – e.g. provide appropriate rooms to conduct the Speaking session and register a group of a minimum of 30 candidates (jointly) for any or all of the following exams: FCE, CAE or CPE. The chosen exam sittings should be held on dates in close proximity to each other in order to allow the Speaking test for all three levels to be conducted on the same day. The minimum number of candidates registered for any test level should not be lower than 4.

The offer is valid from May 2012 to 15th April 2013. Some products will be posted to you, others will be sent by e-mail. The decision as to whether to take up some or all of the options (e.g. being mentioned by name as a programme participant on www.britishcouncil.pl or hosting the exams on your own premises) lies with the programme participant.
