Universities in six Polish cities run partner centres in association with us. Lending and information services are offered in all of these centres and they are open to the general public. The main areas covered in the stock and services include English for teachers and learners, study in the UK, British literature, life and culture.
Please be informed that the British Council Library in Warsaw is now run in co-operation with Biblioteka Publiczna w Dzielnicy Praga Południe m.st. Warszawy at Meissnera 5. All our library resources were transferred to our partner in 2008. As a result, our members have access to wider range of services and resources, including resources in other languages, such as French, German, Russian, Spanish and Italian.

Please be informed that the British Centre at the Nicolas Copernicus University in Toruń was closed on 30th June 2012. The Centre’s resources will be transferred to the University library.
We would like to thank the University and the whole British Centre team for many years of excellent and fruitful cooperation. We would also like to thank the library members and visitors to the Centre who have been taking part in the activities organised by the British Centre in cooperation with the British Council.
The British Council Exams Centre will continue to operate at the Nicolas Copernicus University in Toruń.
