For most of us June and Opole are associated with the festival of Polish songs. But some Opole inhabitants think more about English tests than Polish songs during those hot summer days. And this is thanks to the ILS International School that runs our Exam Centre in Opole. ILS is located in a newly restored building on one of the main city streets. The school caters for the needs of all sorts of English language learners: children, teenagers and adults. Their range of courses includes those for groups and individual tuition in a variety of profiles and levels of intensity. Particularly popular seem to be exam classes preparing students for Cambridge ESOL exams such as FCE, CAE, CPE and the Business English Certificate (BECs)

ILS is also involved in a UE project aimed at developing the language qualifications of Opole local government authorities. The great majority of those course participants – 80% - have passed Cambridge ESOL exams. Apart from excellent learning conditions, ILS provides their students with easy access to relaxation and exercise. Just opposite the school there is a swimming pool where you can swim, or just use the jacuzzi.

The Exams Co-ordinator, Małgorzata Besz-Janicka, is the owner of two almost thoroughbred saddle horses. Their knowledge of English is not thorough but they take every jump beautifully. The Exam Administrator, Ola Wąsowicz knows in turn how to win children’s hearts.  She loves kids and this feeling is mutual, as very often you can see her surrounded by the smiling children of ILS students and teachers

Colleagues from ILS apart from their educational activities actively support a pro-family policy. During one of the sessions a candidate brought her 3-year old daughter to her written exam. She conceded that there was nobody to look after the girl as the candidate’s husband had not arrived home from work on time. ILS staff found a solution to the problem. They delegated one of the teachers who had a break in her classes to take care of the child. The remorseful father finally appeared and collected his daughter. The mother’s determination was rewarded as she succeeded in the exam. So when it comes to Cambridge ESOL exams at ILS you are very welcome to bring your offspring as well!

And now we invite you to check for yourselves whether all this is true: http://www.ils.pl/
