Tomasz Florczak – the winner of the Polish stage of the International Young Interactive Entrepreneur (IYIE) competition
Tomasz Florczak (born in 1983) has won the Polish stage of the International Young Interactive Entrepreneur award. Tomasz is the chairman of the company AdProfes.pl, which offers services for the creating of interactive presenters for Internet sites. This is one of the most modern solutions for promoting firms in the Internet, which is why it drew the competition jury’s attention.
Tomasz has a thorough knowledge of this sector of the new media. He gained his experience when he worked in well-known and reputable corporations, as well as in small internet firms in several European countries. His own company Adprofes.pl won, among other prizes, a competition for the best project and business plan, for which it was awarded a European Union donation by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development.
Winning the Polish stage of the IYIE award and participating in the international workshops will let me get to know the finalists from other countries, but it will also be an opportunity to present the innovative solutions that my firm offers. – says the Polish winner.
I believe that interactive Internet solutions are a truly revolutionary means of communicating with customers, but they demand big engagement from the firms that are interested in the development of such systems. Thanks to the workshops and exchange of contacts and experiences, the solution that I propose can be applied by partners in the whole world.
Tomasz participated in the international finals of the IYIE’2008 award in London in November 2008. He competed for the main prize and the title of the best young interactive and media sector entrepreneur with representatives of such countries as: Brazil, Estonia, India, Indonesia, Slovenia, Tanzania and Turkey.
The International Young Interactive Entrepreneur award was the sixth of seven International Young Creative Entrepreneur (IYCE) awards organised this year to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the British Council in Poland.
