british council examination centre in Koszalin

To get to the British Council examination centre in Koszalin based at  Studium Języków Obcych, the EUREKA Foreign Languages Centre,   you need to cross quite a long footbridge that leads to their main entrance. The building has never had a moat, below is just a lawn, so nobody really knows why such an overpass is there. Once you have covered it our colleagues from EUREKA will heartily welcome you and acquaint you with what the school has to offer. The scope is broad, as they run language courses for almost every age group from nursery level to senior citizens. You can learn there English, German or Spanish and if you are thinking of preparing to sit school leaving examinations, matura,  also Polish and maths.

The English teachers in EUREKA are competent, energetic and friendly but also demanding. Thanks to their input and commitment Eureka students can freely work without experiencing any stress within an international environment, travel abroad and take language exams.
The Exam staff in Koszalin consists of two nice ladies, Joanna & Anna. The Exam coordinator, Joanna, is a keen traveller as well as a shopaholic. She travels around the world bringing back home various objects in huge quantities. These are mostly shoes and mascara but also piles of dictionaries and ethnic toys.

The Exam administrator, Anna Muchowska, cannot travel that much. She is the mother of  nine-month old Agatka, and her great passion is social psychology. For the time being out of necessity Anna is an expert on Teletubbies and kittens.

Our colleagues in Koszalin are extremely flexible and understanding when it comes to  student needs. However not all candidates’ wishes and excuses can be accepted. During one session a certain gentleman appeared at the written FCE half an hour after the beginning of his exam. When asked about the reason for his lateness he explained very seriously that a day before his friend’s wife had given birth to a child. The candidate was surprised that such an excuse was found to be insufficient.

And now we invite you to check for yourselves whether all this is true: http://www.sjoeureka.pl
