The exams, that can be organised in our examinations centres across Poland, are subject-specific tests taken by applicants for Medicine, Philosophy, Politics, Economics, Law, Mathematics and other related courses. Candidates applying for special arrangements should fill in the application for special arrangements form and submit it (accompanied by other registration documents) to the British Council office by the deadline set by the Exams Coordinator:

BIOMEDICAL ADMISSIONS TEST (BMAT) is a subject-specific admissions test taken by applicants for Medicine, Veterinary Medicine and related courses at the University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, Oxford University Medical School, Royal Veterinary College and University College London. The BMAT is a 2-hour pen-paper test consisting of three sections. Find out more about the BMAT. ENGLISH LITERATURE ADMISSIONS TEST (ELAT) is a subject-specific admissions test taken by applicants for undergraduate courses in English at Oxford University. The ELAT is a 1.5-hour compare and contrast essay on two or three passages of text. Find out more about ELAT. HISTORY APTITUDE TEST (HAT) was introduced to select the most able candidates applying to History related courses. It is a two-hour test consisting of two extracts with a total of four questions about them. HAT is not a test of historical knowledge but examines the applicant’s skills. Find out more about HAT. PHYSICS APTITUDE TEST (PAT) is a two-hour test covering both physics and mathematics. The exam requires knowledge of elementary mathematics, algebra, calculus, physics, mechanics, waves and optics, electricity etc. Find out more about PAT. SIXTH TERM EXAMINATION PAPER (STEP) examination is a well-established Mathematics admissions test for the University of Cambridge and the University of Warwick used to help to select the most able students for courses that are usually oversubscribed. STEP consists of three-hour examinations, STEP I, STEP II, STEP III. Candidates are usually required to sit either one or two of the examinations, depending on the requirements of the universities they are applying to. Find out more about STEP.
