British Council Poland

academic exams

Throughout the year we cooperate with a number of academic institutions by accommodating their students in our examinations centres. Distance learners can sit their exams with the British Council and complete their degrees without leaving Poland. To arrange an exam, the educational institution should contact the exams coordinator directly.

To sit an exam in a British Council exam centre you should:

  • inform your university / educational institution that you want British Council to host your exam;
  • contact the British Council office in Warsaw to discuss details of exam arrangements;
  • read the Regulations for academic exams;
  • deposit the examination fee for administration of the exam and dispatch of your exam papers to the UK (the fees for academic exams are previously consulted with the universities. The university tuition fee or the exam fee the students pay to the universities usually covers the administrative fees of the British Council).
