We are happy to announce that this year the British Council Poland is celebrating its 70^th anniversary.

Throughout all these years we have been listening carefully to the needs and expectations of Poland and the Polish people towards us and we have tried to satisfy them. We are proud of the results of our work and we hope our mission in Poland will be equally exciting in the future.

In the year of our anniversary we are looking back on what we have achieved in the last 70 years, as well as what we are planning to do in the coming years of our work in Poland. Therefore on the webpages dedicated to our 70^th anniversary you will find:

• “70 facts about the British Council Poland” – here we’re summing up, sometimes with a touch of humour our up-to-date achievements and

• 7 competitions for young entrepreneurs from creative sectors. These awards are designed to support the development of entrepreneurship in Poland, as well as being a subject that we intend to devote a lot of attention to in the next few years.

Our plans for this year also include various cultural events, art exhibitions and competitions. We will keep you up with everything.
