ARTISTIC POLICY
Mimbre fuses world-class acrobatics with theatre and dance into a physical language with which to tell stories and create imagery. Their fresh and contemporary performances are of high artistic quality and their impressive sets transform outdoor spaces into unexpected places. Here, audiences are immersed in a world of humour, energy, and visual poetry. Mimbre also strive to foster strong, positive images of women in their performances as well as in their workshops.

Memento
Three enchanting ladies from an elegant and romantic past perform elaborate acrobatic tableaux. Contrasting delicate costumes with physical strength, these characters make their acrobatic journey through the admiring public. 3 people on stage and tour. Sets between 30-45 minutes
The Bridge
With humour and exceptional physicality The Bridge reverberates with our battle to defend our place in the world, whilst trying not to destroy it. A spectacular, outdoor, acrobatic theatre production. 3 people on stage, 4-5 people on tour. 45 minutes

FUTURE PRODUCTIONS
Something From Nothing (working title)
An intimate, three woman show where old friends meet, creating a fantasy world from memories. As we move forward in life there are times when we have to say goodbye. 3 people on stage and tour. 25 minute outdoor version, 1 hour indoor version.

WRAP-AROUND
Mimbre offers a range of education work that suit all abilities and backgrounds: from workshops for schools and young people, adults beginners classes or master classes for professional performers. The workshops uses acrobatics as a perfect tool to encourage people to work together, create trust between each other and to encourage physical health. Mimbre especially put emphasis on encouraging women to realise and use their physical strength and offer women-only workshops as well as mixed.
In our education work, as in our performances, physicality goes hand in hand with creativity, with formal or informal presentations by the participants at the end of the workshop.
Mimbre also takes part in residencies or commissions to create new or site-specific work – this could be in connection with a workshop or on its own.
