ARTISTIC POLICY
Richard Alston Dance Company presents skilled dancers in lyrical and speedy movement, steps flowing in close dialogue with exhilarating music. This is dance that gives straightforward pleasure, using a broad range of musical inspiration, both classical and contemporary, to create a constant interplay between musical impulse and choreographic invention. Live music is an important element of the performance whenever possible.
