CURRENT PRODUCTIONS Dear Body Inspired by B for Body (see below) Dear Body is a witty satire on our fixation with body image, combining innovative choreography, distinctive video animation and dark humour. Protein’s six dancers are joined by an ensemble cast of local amateur performers. 75 minutes (no interval). 18 on stage (including 12 local people); 9 or 10 on the road. B for Body B for Body won Luca Silvestrini the Audience Vote in the 2006 Place Prize and performer Sally Marie a Spotlight Award nomination from the Critic’s Circle. 15 mintues, 3 on stage, 4 on the road
WRAP-AROUND Protein creates exciting opportunities for people from all walks of life to engage with dance as participants in educative and creative projects which are versatile and wide ranging in scale and focus. Protein specialises in socially inclusive dance with hospital patients and children excluded from mainstream education, and cross-generational work.
