bgroup’s artistic identity is informed by Wright’s concern to present meaning without explicitness, creating and presenting work that illuminates the fragility and beauty of our human condition. Staged within a circular configuration of chairs this new work will be a contemporary take on ‘a congregation’, drawing upon conventions from the primitive to modern day. Littered with humour and text the dance will be up close and personal to the audience.

WRAP-AROUND
bgroup offers a range of participatory activities that can be adapted so as to be appropriate to participants of all levels of experience from beginners to advanced professionals. Current workshop packages include: Choreography and Rep based work, Performance studies and Contemporary technique and partnering skills. The company can offer half day workshops through to longer residencies that can culminate in a showing of work.
The company is also able to offer post show discussions.
