CINE EUROPA 16

The 16th Annual Cine Europa Film Festival opens this year at the Shangri-la Plaza Mall on 04 September 2013.

This year, UK will have two documentaries as entries to the film festival --- Dreams of a Life and Project Nim.

Project Nim is about the chimpanzee who in the mid-1970s became the focus of a landmark experiment which aimed to show that an ape could learn to communicate with language if raised and nurtured like a human child.

Dreams of a Life is an imaginative and multilayered quest to go beyond the newspaper reports and solve the mystery of who thirty-eight year old Joyce Vincent was and why she lay undiscovered for three years after her death in one of the busiest parts of London.
