British Council, Look Magazine and Inquirer Lifestyle invite all fashion and accessories designers to apply to the Look of Style Awards 2013.

THEME: Pinoy Goes Global

CLOTHES

This theme will challenge finalists to use local fabrics and techniques to modernize Filipino clothing such as the terno, barong Tagalog, and baro’t saya to reflect the new generation’s take on Filipiniana, veering away from its traditional aesthetic and instead, showing its potential for mainstream fashion.

ACCESSORIES

This theme will challenge finalists to show their craft in creating bags, shoes, and jewelry featuring local and ethically-sourced materials.

PRIZES

An all-expense-paid-trip to study in Central Saint Martins in London (for clothes) and Sheffield Hallam University in South Yorkshire (for accessories).
