Initial contact

The applicant must read the Authorised IELTS Registration Agents Information Sheet and Terms and Condition, then download the application form and submit to British Council together with the requirements.

Follow up

The Examinations Marketing Manager will schedule a meeting that includes an ocular inspection of the proposed place of business.  An Information Pack for IELTS Registration Agents is provided and a Customer Care Training session is arranged at the earliest opportunity.

Endorsement

The agent begins endorsement of the British Council to candidates and a minimum of twenty candidates is required before the agreement is formalised.

Signing of Agreement

A copy of the Authorised IELTS Registration Agent’s Agreement is prepared in the agent’s name and sent to be signed by a legal representative of the agent. This is renewed on an annual basis subject to mutual agreement.

Performance Review

Agents’ performance is reviewed on a quarterly basis to ensure that the relationship is mutually beneficial.
