Highly acclaimed and multi awarded British theatre actor, Tim Crouch is set to perform his one man play I, Malvolio in Manila from 6-7 February at the PETA Theatre Centre in Quezon City.
Tim Crouch re-imagines Twelfth Night through the eyes of Shakespeare’s most pent-up steward. I, Malvolio is a charged, hilarious and often unsettling rant from a man adrift in front of a cruel audience, a man ‘notoriously abused’. In this story of prudery and practical jokes, Malvolio enters the madness of Shakespeare's comedy classic and makes it his own. I, Malvolio is appropriate for children 11 years and up and is perfect for young and old alike.
Tim Crouch is an internationally renowned playwright, director and performer. His plays include the award-winning My Arm, An Oak Tree, ENGLAND and The Author. I, Malvolio is the fourth of his solo Shakespeare plays for family and younger audiences. He has adapted and directed The Taming of the Shrew and King Lear for the RSC Young Peoples Week.
I, Malvolio is presented in partnership with the Philippine Educational Theatre Association of the Philippines (PETA)
Ticket prices are at Php 350.00.
