As a part of the Beyond Borders ‘drug awareness’ campaign a song on the theme of drug abuse has been produced in collaboration with Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). The song has been sung by renowned artist Mr Jawad Ahmad and is titled ‘Tum Abhi to Aaye Baithay Thhey’, the lyrics for which were written by a LUMS professor, Mr Ashraf Iqbal. Jawad Ahmad plans to include this song in his upcoming music album. The music video for the song is now ready and available on our website and has been aired on all leading music channels.

Mr Jawad Ahmad has joined hands with the British Council for this project to create more public awareness about the harmful effects of drugs. In his words:

“I have already been doing a lot of work in the field of education in Pakistan under the banner of my organisation Taleem for All Trust. I wanted to be a part of this activity so that I could help create awareness about drug abuse in Pakistan….a message which really needs to be heard!”
