Design Awards uncover Kiwi ingenuity

People In Your Neighbourhood 2009

In partnership with the Office of Ethnic Affairs, the Human Rights Commission & the Asia NZ Foundation, the British Council presents the People In Your Neighbourhood Project.

The Project involves aspiring artists and performers from Auckland's urban ethnic communities, working with the best of contemporary UK talent, to create an intercultural album and perform a live music show.

The show took place in Auckland at the Transmission Room on March 12th, and at Womad Taranaki March 14th 2009.

Planning is now underway for the 2009/10 project - stay tuned.
