Society

Societies whose citizens and institutions contribute to a more inclusive, open and prosperous world.

Our work in Society focuses on cultural relations as a powerful tool for change. We aim to connect local issues to global challenges that we all face as a world community, developing long term partnerships for the UK.

In Norway we concentrate our work in the Society area on issues around Diversity and Equality.

We aim to

Provide a platform to discuss and share views on issues such as diversity, migration, cohesion, intercultural dialogue and equality.

How?

We work in partnership with local and international organisations to discuss and exchange ideas and knowledge that promote the understanding of difference and diversity. In Norway we work in partnership with a broad range of organisations, including governments departments, NGOs and the private sector.

For more information about our work in the Society area please see our various ongoing programmes on the left, or examples of our pervious work here
