Are you interested in become part of a European network to support the mobility of international researchers?

Euraxess is a European Commission initiative aimed at making life easier for mobile researchers. It aims to enhance the careers of researchers in Europe by providing job opportunities, useful information, mobility services, personalised assistance, and rights and obligations for researchers and research organisations. If part of your job is to help recruit or provide information or assistance to overseas researchers, or to develop you current research staff or your international strategy, you should consider getting involved.

EURAXESS-UK provides a UK web portal and a network of Local Contact Points (based in UK universities) which offer personalised assistance to overseas researchers coming to their institution. As the UK’s nominated ‘Bridgehead’ organisation, the British Council coordinates the Euraxess-UK initiative.

Research Councils UK’s Strategy for International Research promotes the UK as a place to undertake research and encourages the movement of researchers to and from the UK. As a member of the EURAXESS network you will support this strategy by helping attract world-class research talent and encouraging and assist UK researchers to gain experience abroad.
