Other Voices

At the heart of the Other Voices story is the union of voices: music pays no heed to boundaries or borders. Other Voices will celebrate distinctiveness, diversity, creativity and inclusiveness. This ethos is also reflected in the engagement of new technologies which will platform each event and enable music fans around the world to share with live streaming to local communities, global audiences online and subsequently on television across the world.

The Other Voices triangle will forge a new chapter in the musical narrative of these three locations, bringing together a swathe of musical genres and generations, from rock’n’roll to traditional Irish, cutting edge electronic to world sounds.

Other Voices Dingle, Derry-Londonderry and London will applaud originality and embrace divergence and in doing so, create three very special and authentic celebrations where music remains at the centre.

Other Voices, Glassworks, Derry~Londonderry 8-10 February 2013.
