British Council Seminars

Our seminars provide an opportunity to discuss the latest developments in the UK's education and training sector and to share ideas and best practice from around the world. Whether you are a professional working in school, further, higher or continuing education or with young people, we offer a range of seminars which can help you and your institution develop.

Comenius Training Grants for School Education staff

Educators interested in learning from the experience of other countries may apply for grants of up to €2000 in order to attend a course or job shadow in another European country.

Last year around 160 Northern Ireland teachers and other education staff took part in courses as diverse as 'Immersion French for NOn-Specialist Primary and Secondary Teachers' and 'What Principals should know about Learning, Teaching and Leading'.
