Ms. Samantha Kirby

Public Affairs Manager, Interfaith Youth Core
Samantha Kirby is the Manager of Public Affairs for Interfaith Youth Core (IFYC), a Chicago-based organization advancing a movement of interfaith cooperation on college campuses and in local communities.
She has worked since 2008 to bring the message of interfaith cooperation into public and policy discourse on religion with the goal of shifting the public conversation from one of inevitable conflict between religions to one of cooperation.
Sam has written for outlets including the Washington Post and the Chicago Tribune, and was a winner of a Tikkun Magazine writing contest.
Raised in the California Bay Area, she is a proud graduate of Northwestern University where she studied religion and psychology and conducted honors research on relations between Muslims and Jews in Morocco.
Sam was a 2008 Public Interest Program Fellow and in 2010 was selected for the US Department of State Young Leaders Dialogue in Prague.
