Prof. Susannah Heschel

Eli Black Professor of Jewish Studies, Dartmouth College

Susannah Heschel is the Eli Black Professor of Jewish Studies at Dartmouth College. She is the author of numerous books and articles, including The Aryan Jesus: Christian Theologians and the Bible in Nazi Germany, published by Princeton University Press. A Carnegie Scholar in Islamic Studies, she is currently a Fellow at the Wissenschaftskolleg in Berlin, where she is writing a book on the history of modern European Jewish scholarship on Islam.
